I have heard that many mercs fought with the argies against the british. Does anybody know if this is true, or have any info about them.

I have heard that the paras caught a few! ;-)

I have never heard this but as an American I certainly hope not, but then I guess I wouldn't be surprised. My impression of mercenaries has always been that they had no allegiance to anything but the dollar. That's why I wasn't thrilled to hear that we employ them in Iraq

There have been no American forces fighting against British forces and to do so would be treason or at least should be. Are you looking for another reason to hate America?

I have never heard of any merc's involved in the Falklands War.

I was in the Royal Engineers at the time. Missed the shooting but was in Port Stanley shortly after for mine clearing and repairing the runway.

There was no talk about this, and believe me, if it had been true it would have been.
