Earthqauke? What's an earthqauke?
Louisiana (LA) hasn't had an earthquake for ages, but it's always possible. Earthquakes can happen anywhere.
Los Angeles (L.A.) is probably more likely to experience a horrific earthquake within the next twenty five years. It's just a matter of time...scientists claim it's overdue. -RKO-

I can only assume that you're asking if there will be a large-scale earthquake, much like the Northridge quake which caused so much damage a few years back.
To that, I say yes. It is a simple truth that Los Angeles lies atop several small fault lines, and in relatively close proximity to the San Andreas fault, which is mammoth by comparison. At some point, the stresses building up over the years will have to release, at which time there will be a truly significant temblor.

Yes and it will happen on August 25, 2006 at 8:54 am and will be a 6.0. So buy some supplies now before the price goes up
Earthquakes are sporadic and unpredictable. But best be prepared.

Chances are that, YES, there will be an earthquake in the LA area. It sits on the San Andreas Fault, which is extremely active. When? No one knows.
