I come from a good family,im always welcoming, i look like barbie, i have tons of friends and im always a sweet person. People always peg me as a goody goody. BUT ive always had an obsession with vampires and goths. I go to real haunted houses by myself, i read vampire novels and movies, i love halloween, i love dark things and people. I find it erotic. I even ordered vampire fangs online. (never wore them, though) My husband laughs at me. I cant help it. Its been going on since i was 10. Am i okay?

As long as you're not hurting yourself or anyone else...you're fine!

It's not unusual for people to find dark/goth things erotic. There's nothing "wrong" with you.

Hi Ava,

Although people might think of you as a "goody goody" and a "Barbie", those impressions I'll bet are pretty superficial. You sound like you have other sides of your personality and to your interests too.

Who really know what attracts us to interests that others wouldn't think usual.

For some people their interest in the "dark side" of vampires, goths, and ghosts, may help them express a sad or a melancholy side of their personality. For others, interest in ghosts, vampires helps them go beyond the physical world into another realm that is beyond death. I think that this last point may suggest that you have a spiritual side that you haven't really developed yet. Maybe it's worth exploring?

Other than that, ghosts, vampires and goths can just be fun.

By the way, if you want to suck blood, I have type "Oh oh!"... highly intoxiating to vamps.

I think you're alright. People keep pegging as a goody goody or "straight edge" but I'm into the whole Goth thing too (wouldn't say I find it erotic, but to each their own). I don't think anything's wrong with you. It's just something you like. Doesn't make you "weird" or anything.

I think this is totally fine. Maby people thinking you are a goody goody has somewhat gotten to you. And influenced you to think so. That would make the whole vampire thing a bit surprising. Maby there is just a part of you that you havn't tapped into yet... spend some time alone and examine your thoughts and feelings... sometimes we dont even know what we mean.. we kind of have to figure ourselves out... this is your opportunity

Hon, it is erotica. Your obsession with vampires and Goth is actually a sexual fetish, dealing with an old taboo, death, the unusual, the kinky, and the real and raw sexual power that comes to you from knowing that most people have a subliminal fear of the darker side. It makes you feel sexy, powerful, and mysterious. You are just FINE. You ARE sexy, powerful and mysterious. Come and visit at midnight and do not forget the fangs...lol

why dont you see a therapist? Then you can figure out why you have this obsession and where it comes from. Then you can see if it is just something you are interested in, or if there is some deeper reason you are drawn to it.
Therapy is always a good idea, it can always help even the happiest person become more at peace with themselves.

You need to dress up like a goth seductress, all black, wicked fishnet hose and garters, sexy revealing bra with nipple cutouts, and crotchless panties.

Turn the lights down low, light lots of candles, and lie on the bed with some soft ropes beside you. Then when hubby arrives, you flash him with legs spread wide and tell him how naughty you feel --- that you want to be tied up and dominated. Tell him that there no holds (holes) barred and let him have his way with you.

Or maybe you prefer the dominant role.... Tie him up and punish him by withholding his pleasure while you pleasure yourself. That will teach him to laugh at your inclinations.

After your romp in the sandbox, report back to me via email and give me a detailed account of what happened.

If he still laughs after that, then replace your husband, and find a man that can satiate your desires.

to be fasinated by goth/vampires means you are evil. Or you like evil. Goth/vampire/halloween are witch-like things.

If most people define "normal" as being associated with these things, then "normal" means being or loving evil.
