No, getting physical won't help things. You need to be an adult and let her play her games, she only continues to do so because she knows that it bothers you both. Once you show her that whatever she does is not important and that she isn't a threat to your relationship she will get bored and eventually stop.

Fight? What the hell would that solve? What if she just happens to kick YOUR ***? Even if you whoop her...what will it solve? Fighting has its place, but not in this case. What should you do? Get your boyfriend to grow a pair and explain to her that their time together, however fondly he looks upon it, is OVER. Be sure that HE is actually telling her that they are over! That she needs to move on and that he cannot help her in that regard. Have him urge her that she will find someone else and will soon forget about him. He doesn't need to be cruel to her, why hurt her more than she is already hurting? Both of you can be the bigger person and help her. She just needs a little encouragement that the pain she feels will subside, and she will find her Mr. Right...and memories of your boyfriend will be just that, fond memories. Handle...what the hell is that? People are not animals and don't need handling. Think about how you would feel if he left you for someone else? Would you need to be handled? Understand and sympathize, that will do much more on this issue then trying to do even more harm. Good luck!

#1, it's not your problem to handle. #2, how can you be sure he told her to leave him alone. did you see him do this or is he just telling you that cuz he could be lying to you. #3, grow up and just ignore her. only defend yourself if she approaches you. just because you "handle her" doesn't mean that she is going to stop talking **** about you. plus, you would pretty much be fighting over a guy that you have only been with for 4 months. i know you think you would be fighting because she disrespected you but the truth is, it's really all over a guy.

Fighting is childish your adults now you can't handle things like that if he has caller ID he just shouldn't answer. She will stop calling unless he is talking to her behind your back anyway. Not only is it childish to fight it could land you in jail. Not worth it.

I don't think you should get physical with her, because that could cause a lot of problems for you if she decides to call the cops or anything, but if she keeps harassing you you should call the police or talk to her and tell her to stop or you will call the cops.
