Well it took a few years after my last baby for my belly skin to tighten up enough to get rid of that flab feeling...its not flat by any means...but it has gone down a lot! Just keep working out and it will tighten up even more....

How long since you had your baby? I think it was almost a year before my belly was back to semi-normal, and it really was mostly skin. Jelly belly, ya know? Give it a little time to go back to normal. If it's been a few years, though, plastic surgery might be your best chance. The only other thing to try would be something that helps with skin elasticity, like some of those anti-aging lotions or something.

That can definitely happen. It does tend to happen more in older mums since the skin has less ability to adjust than it once did. There are a lot of topical treatments out on the market that claim to improve the situation, from cocoa butter to seaweed wraps, but unfortunately none of them seem to work. Give it some time, and if it doesn't shrink back within about a year you may think about talking to a plastic surgeon about it.
(Some surgeons/hospitals will even let you donate the skin for grafting on burn patients so it's not just thrown out, by the way.)

Same problem...just stretched too much with the babies, I don't think mine will ever go back even with a billion crunches. I've lost 20 lbs in the last 3 months taking me down to 117 lbs so I am actually underweight for my age/height but I still have that belly bulge and extra skin "flap"

One of the main things you need to do is keep the skin moisturized so your skin can regain it's elasticity. A moisturizer with cocoa butter or collagen is good. Sometimes after you do all this, you still need plastic surgery. It depends on how much your skin stretched and how well you kept it moisturized while pregnant.

if u buy the stretch mark cream by Palmers. even if u dont have strecth marks, it has a lot of elastin in it to help make ur skin go tight again. use it 3 times a day, and also wear a girdle for at least 6 months to hold the skin tight while its shrinking

Well it really all depends on your frame. If you were really thin when you were pregnant or course your skin will stretch more and it will take a little longer than usual to go back to its normal state. If your more heavy set than your body has more elasticity and returns back to its size faster than a thin person. Try working our if that doesnt help than plastic surgery is your only option.

Some women's bodies show no signs of pregnancy-others show it ALL. If you haven't gone back to your original size and shape within a year, you most likely aren't going to.
I dieted and exercised until my rips showed, I still have a roll of skin on my belly-11 years later.
Surgery is the only option for some.

Remember, it took 9 months to stretch, therefore, their is no Way your loose skin will tighten up any time soon. The best way I found to get back into shape was exercise, especially tummy lifts. But give it time!!! Good Luck
