The simple answer to that is yes.

For if you both put GOD first in your lives, you will live out his commands regarding all things in your life , including your marriage.

God gives us very clear roles in marriage, and if we follow these roles, we can be quite happy. Unfortunately for husbands, their role is much more difficult than the wife's role, and therefore much easier to let her down, but as long as God is placed first in our lives, the wife will forgive and the husband will keep working toward fullfilling his role.

Yes. You are to love the Lord thy God with all your heart, with all strength, all your might, etc. I can't recall the scripture right off hand, I believe it's in Matthew, of where mothers will war with daughters and fathers with sons, so on and so forth on the realization that God must come first in one's life. And there's several other scriptures to support that. Email me and I'll get them for you (I'm at work right now): ohio.statebuckeyes11@gmail.com

Yes, you should have the Lord first in your life. Not second, third, or way down the list somewhere. God is first and foremost.

Yes, more than your wife, parents, and others. If you're wife suddenly became a witch or Satanist, she might demand you become one as well. If you love her more, you'll fall away from God which would not be good. If you want more info, let me know.

The lord is your wife.

Each of us is a part of God. We should be treating all of our brothers as the beloved parts of God that they are.

When you are feeling the same love for every person on earth, that you feel for your children or who ever it is that is closest to your heart, you are doing what jesus asked of you.

This is what God wishes from you also.

Love and blessings

If you are of the God-persuasion, then the rules are you are supposed to seek god first, love god first and be thankful you have anything in your life that god has provided to you.
If you don't believe there is a god out there you can make deals with, who waits patiently for you to figure out he is the Boss, and will damn you to eternal fire for not figuring it out, then you can set your own priorities.
Personally, I am grateful for my life, and the beautiful earth I live on, I am happy and busy. I do not look to god to figure me out or for me to figure it/him/her out.
I love my boyfriend more, because when I talk to my bf, he talks back and he is a better kisser.

Yep. No doubt.

Silly reason : There is only one God, but look around you. There's a lot of girl. I am saying that your wife is replacable but God is not.
