My first and only pregnancy was at the age of 40 and it terminated in a miscarriage. I blamed my gods for allowing it. I still loved them, but I was mad and deeply hurt. I stayed loyal and kept praying. I kept reaching out to try to keep the communication lines open. Eventually I accepted that it might have been for the best and trusted again. But it was a long hard road getting there.

As a child I was molested by someone that was to be my caretaker. I have finally forgiven him and prayed that the Lord would lead him to Him with love and forgiveness. I have found by doing this I came to a more calm assurance that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. I also asked for forgiveness for myself for harboring resentment and hurt through all of my years. This is indeed a free feeling.

Seeking the advice of those within a faith, only to be faced with conflicting, convoluted, confusing and contradictory answers combined with expressions of disbelief and hatred instead of understanding and compassion.

I have overcome it by giving up.

Recognizing that I have been bought with a price (the blood of Jesus Christ) and dying to my flesh so that Christ might live through me. The pressures and distractions of work and everyday life pull me away from my conscious effort to live in perfect harmony with my God and Savior.

Two big things - one, dealing with the misconceptions about my religion by my family, friends, and strangers.

Two, finding my own path without having a "How To Guide" that tells me how everything is and gives me all the answers.

lets just keep asking questions. It's hard to take any of your questions seriously when all you do is ask questions for the sake of asking.

There are two parts of this forum. I challenge you to start voting for answers to all of your 300 questions and not putting them up to a vote!
