Does anyone know the number of soldiers that are fighting in Iraq?

In Howard Dean interview, the number given was 136,000. This number is expected to start dropping monthly as of Sept. 2006.

Last I saw, it was somewhere in the neighborhood of 193,000 US troops, because they want to cut the number down to 175,000 by next year...
