I would say the devil will get you and take you to hell instead of the police will get you and take you to jail.Am I the only one?

If you are breaking the law, then you deserve what you get. Where I am from, the police work very hard to keep the crime rate down, they all have families, they just have a harder job than most having to deal with idiots who think like you

Nope, but I know of some people that refer to whites as the devil. I refer to the police as "1 time", or "la chota."

You get a few officers who are bad or hide behind the badge so the whole entire career field suffers. How can people hate these folks so bad but be the first ones to scream for them when they need them?

No I don't. I think they are men and women with families and that they have chosen a very tough career.
I don't have any need to break or challenge the law, though...and when I have gotten speeding tickets, I deserved them.

but when a cop car approaches in traffic my friends from New York say"one up"
which i always thought was strange
or my ex-boyfriend calls them the "po po"
i call them "THOSE LOW DOLLAR SONS A BITCHES"
