I'm going to be a freshman aswell, and think that we should have the best time that we could, cause we only got 4 years. Although its going to be tough, keep your head up, listen to your teachers, do ur work, do some thing wild once in a while, make tons of friends, and just have fun. CLASS OF 010 IS # 1 FOR LIFE

Hello G-Unit_Fam,

I think that the one thing that I learned the hard way in High School is this. That all of the emotions that you are feeling, everyone in High School is feeling the same thing. Some people react to them in different ways but everyone is unsure of themselves, and has a lot of self-doubt. If you know this you might have a little more confidence in yourself.

There are going to be people that spend all of their spare time putting you down. If you can ignore those guys, you will realize that the reason that they are doing it is because they don't feel good about themselves.

Try to learn to walk down the hall and say hello to everyone. Be friendly with as many people as you can. Try to learn as many people's names as possible and when you talk to them, say their names. Get involved in some fun after school activities where you get to be around others. Meet and make friends. There's safety in numbers.

People like to be around fun, self-confident people, so if you work on that, you will do fine. As far as girls goes. You could join a gym and get on an exercise program. The guys that are in decent shape are always the ones in demand. You aren't supposed to be going steady with girls this age and you are too young to go out on dates anyway, so this is a good time to just get to know girls in your area. Work on friendships first.

A lot of freshman girls will be going after the older guys that have cars and can take them out anyway, so you aren't going to have as much of a chance this year anyway. This is the time for you to be working on yourself (your body and mind). Next year (if not right now), you'll knock them dead.

Best of luck to you.

If you are the Mac... then you wont worry about askin any girl out. you kinda shrug off the no's and don't get too exicited over the yes's.. A girl REALLY appreciates a guy who is very secure (as apposed to insecure). just remember, it's not the end of the world. Ask at least 10 to get the one.
Good luck.

High school is tough... its a dog eat dog world.

I don't want you to go into it with a negative attitude, just keep in mind that the real world (when you leave HS) is so much different. So even if it gets tough, keep your head up.

Just remember to treat women like you would expect your mother or sister to be treated.
