I know Jesus is a Greek-form of Joshua. I wanna know what Jesus's contemporaries were calling HIm. Were His diciples calling Him Jesus , Joshua, or something else.

Yeshua. They changed the Y into a J. Israelis speak Hebrew and call Jerusalem Yerusaleum.

Joshua is the Greek translation of the Hebrew Yeshua.

And Christ is not a last name, it's Greek for messiah, which is a Hebrew word meaning annointed.
