My friend and I are both 17 and we just started pilates workouts today. watching the video from one of the sessions, i am finding a lot of things i disagree with, and i am afraid that it might hurt me more than help me. Is it really healthy to do the workouts? or can you get some problems later on from it?

I've done pilates for a while and haven't had problems...as long as you do what you're capable of (don't overdo it)

my flexibility and core strength have greatly improved

also have to make sure you are doing the exercises correctly...doing exercises improperly could lead to problems

Pilates is a great workout. Yes, it does work. If you stretch properly before your workout I'm sure you will be fine.

I love Pilate's, it's the only exercise I have ever seen results from, and I feel great!!!
