What is the stupidest question you have gotten. I have twins and I get all kinds of crazy questions, i feel as if I should charge admission to a side show. I have a boy and girl and people always ask boy and girl huh like duh no i just put bows in my boys hair cause I wanted a girl so bad. I even had to go so far as to tell a lady one had a penis and on had a vagina after she asked me like 6 times if they were identical. Then i love the are they twins one. Or better yet did I plan on having twins, yea I told my hubby to sock it to me really hard so we would have two. I just wanted to know someone elses stories I loev my kiddos as hard as multiples are I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I too am a mother of twins, boys. The question I get a lot form complete strangers is "What type of fertility medicine were you on?" What makes people think that is the only way to have twins? I was not on any type of meds, just mother nature's decision. I have also gotten a lot of "How can you tell them apart?" Well, they are 2 years old now, I hope I have figured out a way by now. Best of luck to ya in dealing with some of these odd questions. And I do agree, it is hard raising twins but I would not trade it for anything in the world!!!

I have boy/girl twins too.
These people are just jealous that most folk have to play the lottery just to get what we have on our first try!
I laugh at parents with multiples that are the same sex. HA! Way to be redundant! It's all about efficiency, baby!
Anyway, as you know, it's impossible to have identical boy/girl twins so send 'em back to genetics class to teach them that only when a single cell splits can they be identical.
Mine look nothing alike anyway.
As far as TRYING for multiples, this is what worked for me:
I got shocked with 480v at 80 Hz, then had sex in the shower.
This must be the surefire method for multiples since neither of us have any in our families, AND SHE WAS ON THE PILL and yet we got them!

I am a 20 12 months ancient mom of dual two 12 months olds. From what I've learn it is not particularly normal for younger ladies to have twins. Also, that is the primary set of twins within the loved ones. It used to be a massive shocker. Of direction, I didn't have fertility cures. People have the massive false impression that simply given that your husband's part of the loved ones has 20 units of twins that in some way on the way to be handed to you. I do not feel it "skips" generations both. Fraternal twins "run" at the lady's part of the loved ones handiest. It can also be purpose from hyperovulation, or liberating a couple of egg in line with cycle. If each are fertilized then you've got twins. Here's a few stats for you: --The odds of getting spontaneous quadruplets are expected to be one million in 729,000 --the chances of conceiving "spontaneous" triplets is approximately one million in eight,one hundred. The probabilities of getting equal twins is approximately one million in 285. The probabilities of getting fraternal twins is also top as one million in 17 if the mum is a fraternal dual herself.

I am do not have twins and I understand what you're saying but I know sometimes I ask "are they twins"? Sometimes siblings are really close in age and I don't know.
