My passport is about ready to expire . In the application form to renew, it says attach current passport .Will they return the old passport to me ? just wanting to save all thoes stamps i have gotten when i travled.

Yup, i agree with the above reply, They will return the passport to you.
I just renewed my passport too and they returned my old passport.

Yes they will give you the old one back. My friend has 4 old passports.

They normally do, but they cut the corner off of it so that you cant use it again. If you are unsure, ask them in writing to send it back to you.Just put a note in with your application and they will definately do it.

hi, yes they usually send the old one back with a corner cut off the cover. This is to show its been "de-activated" so to speak.

Hi,,,, they just stamp thru your old data,, not the old stamps and return it to you.....i have my 1st one from 76....

Yes they usually do, but they will mark it as expired so you cant use it anymore.

yes they will return it but with a cut corner so no one else can use it .
