Well, first of all, you are most likely doing something to give this guy hope. Tell him you are sorry but that you have no interest in him that way. You think of his as a friend and nothing else. You hate that you may have done something to have him draw other conclusions but in the future, if he still wants to be your friend, you will curb that behavior.

I had to let down a good friend who aksed me out a couple of times.
Apparently, I hadn't made it clear the first time because I had just broken up with my boyfriend and I said I wasn't ready to date anyone yet.
So when he asked me again like a week later, I was like "look man, I just don't think we'd do well together as a couple... we're great as friends, but I really don't think we're compatible in that way... I'm sorry"

well this girl wanted to hook up with my friend at a party, and he told her that he had gonarreha....lol.
you could make something up to that extent, otherwise just be honest with him, tell him ur not interested in getting involved in a realtionship right now because you just got out of a bad one or something like that. He'll understand, just be honest and get to the point, guys don't like being played with!!

there is no nice way to reject a guy. try saying that you'll probably want to go out later or you have some family issues. hope that helps.

Don't feel bad, honey. We all have to be rejected sometimes, just do it and don't look back. And don't say that you have other plans; be truthful.

You have to be straight with him. If you are evasive he will simply think that you are being coy or playing hard to get.
Tell him you just aren't interested in him in that way (boyfriend/girlfriend).

Just sit him down and tell him that.you all ready have plans for going you with some of you're friends.and that you can't go out.

There's nothing that you can say that won't hurt his feelings. Just tell him you don't think of him that way. Be honest. Hopefully, he won't go crazy and kill everyone.
