I heard some scientists weighed a body before and right after death, and after the person died they weighed about 20 grams less.
Sounds sorta fishy though...

It does indeed come from weighing the body before and after death. i wonder how they take into account weight loss due to air.

Interesting. I'd always thought the soul was intangible, so it wouldn't have weight.

I bet that movie fails to tell you that the reason you are lighter when you die is because all the movement of blood and other bodily fluids, as well as, the movement of organs stops.

I've seen that movie and it refers to the weight of the cocaine the director ingested daily while making the movie.
Lousy movie, lousy direction, lousy acting, lousy plot....
