i spent a couple of weeks seeing a guy and we went out together, both spent money. he hasnt got much though, he earns very little compared to me. then we argued and he said, "you can give me back all the money you've had out of me" i thought this a bit unfair since we have both spent money on shared experiences. i didnt think i had to provide refund if things didnt work out. i'm not interested in getting money out of him, i thought it was about sharing and giving because you want to, not because you might get something in return

Man, I want to know this guy's name. I had a friend (didn't last long) who did very similar things. He would even do that **** with his wife. I couldn't beleive it. I stopped hanging with him because that just gets on my nerves. I don't like it when people ask you out to lunch or something and then break out the calculator when the check arrives. Dump that loser

I believe the question was "why would a guy do this"..welll the answer is simple..because he is a jack assssssssss...no other words...
PS. oh and by the way...if he insists on the money, just laugh at his face and dont talk to him AGAIN.
Laughing at him will make him more mad,and the good thing is he cant do NOTHING!! isnt that great?

He can "demand" all he wants, but you are under no obligation to provide some sort of dating "refund".

Neither one of you sounds very mature, him because he is making a childish demand and you because meeting his demand is in the realm of possibility to you.
