I sometimes feel like I could spin my head all the way around my body, like the girl from exorsist.
OK, I am kind of joking, but only a little.

As a physician I can tell you that it is not unusual for women to experience such symptoms and some women are virtually unbearable during their menstrual cycle. It is cause by an influx of hormones that play havoc with emotions and temper. Many women that are usually very sweet people snap and bite at anyone. While there are medications for cramping and such, there are no good medications for this mood change.

Welcome to the club sweetie.
PMS (Pre-Menstral Syndrome) effects all women differently. Some symptoms include, sleepiness, crankyness, cramps, bloating, feeling like you are being watched, inability to concentrate, memory lapses, inablility to sleep. The list goes on and on. Also for some women, the symptoms get worse when they start taking birth control pills.
Don't let anyone tell you this does not exist. It does, you have felt it yourself. Men have a difficult time believing this is a real problem, they prefer to believe that all women can't be reasoned with and react emotionally to everything.
It helps me to take care of myself. Eat a nutritious diet and get lots of Calcium. Calcium has been shown to help relieve symptoms. Exersize and eat right, that's important.
Know your body. Know when it is going to hit and warn people. One time I worked on a project for 5 months and was about to put the entire thing into a paper shredder (I was at work and sobbing hysterically) when I noticed the calendar on the wall and realized I was "PMSing". I had a lot of explaining to do, but saved the project.
Another time I was walking through a mall and was so furious by people walking toward me that I nearly decked this girl who passed me a little to close. Then, as I was leaving (having realized there was something seriously wrong with me), I saw this little old lady. OLD!! Bird boned, stooped over, shuffling along. My only thought was, "I should go over there and snap her neck for her. It would be kinder, like putting a suffering animal to sleep." I ran out of that mall and saw a doctor immediately. (didn't help, now I distrust doctors). They just gave me a bunch of pills that made me sicker than the PMS.
Read a book called "Natural Cures They Don't Want You to Know About". That book changed my life. My symptoms are almost non-existent now. I'm so much happier.
You need more information. Type PMS into the Yahoo search engine. You will get lots of info, just be sure it is accurate. I am actually surprised that you didn't know about this "little problem" women deal with.
