Avez-vous passé un bon weekend? (Did you have a good weekend?)

Assuming it's not a close friend, I have put it in the 3rd person

Dominique, get over yourself!! I am in France working which is why I have a French keyboard. The adults in our office greet each other as above each Monday morning, so it really depends upon how you wish to express yourself.

Watever, my advise to you is never look for an exact translation (it rarely works from English to French) look for what is commonly said in it's place.

I am also bilingual but wouldn’t presume to make fun of other’s that weren’t, especially if I had your level of English and French grammar (and spelling). Both are extremely poor.....LOL

Actually, the first two answers to you question are not correct at all. They've been listening to the radio again! What you first two asked was, "Will you go to bed with me tonight?"

How was your week's respite or weekend is, "Comment votre semaine était-elle du sursis?"

After reading all the responses, I have to say the best response (because of the advice) given here was by TheViking and the worst one was probably Dominique, if you can't play nice then don't play at all.

I personally say "Comment était ton fin de semaine?" because I prefer to maintain my Quebecisms ("le weekend" is a maudit anglais no-no in Quebec) and my grammar's pretty bad.

FUNCHY: It's coucher, not bouchez. and it doesn't mean anything close to the question.

And you say Comment a ete ton weekend, or something like that
