The easiest way is to goto: www.google.com and type the word "convert" and then type in the figures with the units, using the seperator "to" inbetween the two mearsurements. I'm not kidding, this works!

Divide kilowatts by 0.746 to get the units as horse power.

Take a car battery, and jumper leads, connect 1 to positive another, to negative. Connect the positive lead to the horses right ear, and then stand back and carefully connect the negative to the horses left ear. Tadddaaaa. you have horse power. LOL

746 Watts is 1 HP

If you put one horse into a furnace it will create just enough heat to create 746 watts of electrical energy.

The amount is far less with donkeys.
A shirehorse will create a lot more energy....it will just do it slowly
