I'm quite conservative in my ideogoly, thank you very much. I just kind of like the idea of cities without crime and friendly people, a thriving economy and plenty of room. Toronto has got to be one of the greatest cities in the world.

Why do some of the answerers seem to think the word 'liberal' is an insult. Here are some of it's definitions:
Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.
Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded.
Sounds like quite a good thing to me. Good choice becoming Canadian if some of these morons are the norm in US society.

Must be easy, every draft dodger & scared to go to war person has run to Canada for decades. Since these cowards have existed, I believe the Viet Nam war started it strongly. Before then patriots did their duty whether they liked it or not, I long for those times of true patriotism. In my family, we have a saying - we may talk bad about one another, but let someone else say something bad & war has broken out. We take care of our own & the USA used to be the same.

You have to meet certain requirements, but it is easier to become a Canadian citizen, than an American citizen....Go to your local Canadian embassy and they will inform you of the steps you need to take to get citizenship....good luck!
