Witch hazel (liquid or gel), aloe vera, tea tree oil, lavendar oil... or Hemorrhoid cream (though not Germaloid - it stinks) anti-inflammatory, anti-septic, local anaestetic, soothing - believe it or not hemorrhoid cream is a fantastically useful ointment for anyone to have, stings, bites, scratches, spots, baggy eyes, blisters.... you can even put it on yer bum!

The most common causes of hemorrhoids are straining during bowel movements and obesity. Follow these essential hemorrhoid prevention tips and you may not even have to delve into any hemorrhoid treatments https://tr.im/rWMNO
If you’re straining during bowel movements, there is no doubt that you are suffering from constipation, and obesity only heightens your chance of experiencing these digestive issues. The best solution for hemorrhoids is to not have them at all!

Vinegar for wasps!
But for the others I find washing my hands and nails thoroughly and then going for the "scratch until you create a crater" method works, the poisin pours out just before the blood!
Seriously it stops the itching...Just don't tell my mum...38 and she still slaps my leg if she sees me scratching bites!

We've always washed the area and while it is still damp rubbed it with an aspirin, leaving the paste created on the bite. Always worked in my family.

You are less likely to be bitten if you eat citrus fruit - oranges. lemons, limes. Leaving citrus peel around the room also repels insects.
