To say God’s nature is love and he wanted to share his love with us doesn’t help for two reasons, 1) Most of us will end up in hell, which means he knowingly created heaven for the minority on the screams of billions of people who end up in hell; 2) If life was already perfect for God, then God did not need to share any more love with anyone else. Why break this purported perfect harmony for the pain of dealing with us and the pain of those who end up in hell?

Hell in the Bible means the common grave of mankind, not a place of fiery torment where bad people go to burn eternally. God created mankind out of love, that is true. But his original purpose was for mankind to be perfect and live forever in a paradise with happiness. Adam and Eve ruined it when they sinned against God and therefore brought about death for themselves and all their offspring. 1 John 4:8 says that God IS love. He is the essence of love, the very personification of it. That is why he shared life with us. Revelation 21:3,4 says that God will soon "wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Soon He will bring everything back into the way he originally meant it to be.

He created us so that he could get mad at us and kill us with natural disasters. Not only that, but he also wanted us to fight over who's god is better, so he gave us the knowledge to build the atomic bomb so we could also kill ourselves.

Remember always that god loves you. But if you don't do exactly as you are instructed, you will burn for it for all of eternity. What a great reward from someone who LOVES you so much! Because I know thats what I do to my girlfriend. I tell her I love her and then set her on fire! What better way to show it then that?!

God wanted to show his love created us... who are we to say to the living God.. why have you created us this way?

a. Hell is an expression of Gods love. God loved us enought to give us freedom of teh will. we can choose to accept Jesus in our hearts or not. If we choose not too, then God loves us enough to give us what we wanted and what we chose... eternal damnation. God is hopeing that EVERY person would believe in Him and in Jesus. God has given you all the evidance you need that Jesus and He is real,

2. its not a pain for God to deal with us, He is almightly and wanted to show his power, to send His son jesus to die for us. It was Gods pleasure to help us!

You're absolutely right. A completly self sufficient being has no needs, no desires, no wants, no emotions such as love (which is an animal instinct anyway) or jealousy.

But inconsistency doesn't seem to hinder faith.

Er... I know you are Pagan because I saw it in a previous post of yours -- are you looking for only Christians to answer this question?

According to some (including Starhawk in her book, The Spiral Dance) God(dess) created humankind because she was lonely and did not know anything. (experience-wise) Because she wanted to know Herself she created human-kind and put a piece of herself in everyone of us so that she might know herself through us, our experience and our growth.

Our supposed final goal is to reach 'enlightenment' so that we can someday return to the Cosmic Mother from whence we came and become co-creators.

Fellowship.
Do you want a home where people HAVE to obey you, or where they voluntarily love & care for you because they know your heart & what pleases you?
Just as G-d said it's not good for man to be alone, He was saying that in regards to Himself, as well.
