I had one. His name was Apollo. I love that dog and he was very protective. He was completely black except for a few white markings on his chest.
They are beautiful,loyal and loving dogs... My dog lived for about 10 1/2 years which is very old for the breed.

My best has had about 10 great danes since I've known her. Wonderful dogs! Greatest I've ever met. But they dont live long enough

my friend did have one,and not to many people would get out of the car,they make for one big dog full grown

They are great, but I hear you have to keep an eye on their bellies. They have some nasty problems with intestinal issues.
