I so agree with you ... and as for Angela R, who said: If you are poor in this country it is because you don't want to really work ...is that so? There are plenty of veterans who can't get work .. there are plenty of other people who through no fault of their own have fallen through the cracks and are experiencing hardship ... does that matter to you? If your bleeding heart bled a bit for the citizens of this country, people born or legalized here, instead of wasting all your energy on people who KNOWINGLY have broken our laws, you would be more credible ...

Lady get over your hate.....Your handle even has the word hate in it....
You exaggerate and say half truths....If you are poor in this country it is because you don't want to really work, there are plenty of opportunities, even for the uneducated....
Immigrants, legal and illegal, come here with a strong work ethic and some do very well....We need people like that in this country to boost our economy. Sure some come and take advantage of the welfare system, but the majority does not.
Why don't you take a course in human civility, maybe you will learn something....

I don't know they are delusional. I totally get what your saying about the money...you can state the facts about how much money is spent on illegals and yet you still get the supporters telling you that your a racist or a liar and that those stats are spin...what a crock. I have always said that the money spent on ILLEGALS could and should be better spent elsewhere....we have too many problems as it is. (we don't need the illegals tacked onto the list)
And FYI for the chick above, this is OUR country....the men in my family...going generations back have bled for this country, who are you to say this isn't our country?? I could ask you who in your family has stood up for this great nation, who in your family has laid their life down for this country?? Put their blood, sweat and tears into making this country as great as it is, the country that every poor person wants to come too?? MY family going wayyyyyyy back has invested much into this country, for you to say it's not our country is an insult!!!! Now I ask you what have you and yours done to make this nation what it is today?? What are you an illegal or a first generationer born to an illegal????

f.y.i it's not your country,it belongs to everyone.instead of talking about what you want, why don't you try doing something, like joining the military and protecting OUR country? and chances are that just because you were born here doesn't mean that everyone in your family was. so before you start criticizing you should think about how your ancestors felt when they first came to this country. because chances are that people like you said the same things to them.they are probably turning in their graves, just from hearing you say that. have you ever been out of the country? have you experienced what those "illegals" go through on a daily basis? i bet when you get hungry while your at work , you take your break go to the nearest drive thru. some people in other countries don't get breaks, they can't even use the bathroom while their working. consider yourself lucky. be great full for what you have. If those"illegals" have come here to escape horrible treatment, then let them stay. it's those people who come here to escape a trial or imprisonment that ruin it for everyone.

I understand your point; however, the problem is being exacerbated by the media. This country is advertised as the richest in the world, the "land of opportunity" and the poor here are kept hidden away so others only have the impression that all their dreams can be realized here. That may be true, comparatively speaking, but it's not true absolutely. So, when we stop putting our celebrities on pedestals and causing the media to hype those kinds of lifestyles, people may begin to realize the grass is not really greener on the other side.

Oh and what makes it yours??? You want and want but do you ever do anything to work at what you want?? That is the problem with the "Americans" they think everything should be handed to them on a silver platter. What ever happened to giving to the less fortunate? OH, that's right you think just because you were born here everything is entitled to you. They are not taking anything that is yours, if anything we are taking from them by using them for everything. YOUR COUNTRY, did you find it? Did you make it what it is? The answer is no, this is not your country. You were just blessed to be born in a country that has prospered by the immigrants that helped build it.

I happened to agree with your point. They are illegal immigrants people and not undocumented immigrants as they like to refer to themselves. They should have to go through the proper channels just like any other immigrant that want to become an american. Jumping the borders does NOT entitle them to stay here!
They are breaking the law, therefore they should be deported back to their country. I detest illegals. They are crumbling our economy and trying to hide behind the "they are doing the work that american won't do." Americans do not want to work for $5/hr. It's not that we don't want to do the work, we simply want a fair wage.

Angela R--I truly hope you get to find out personally how wrong you are. Some of our poor work very hard and never seem to get ahead. We aren't all meant to as you can have no rich if you have no poor to take care of them and bring them profits. Then you would give our last opportunities to people who don't need them any more than we do. What's wrong with you? Do you have some poor funny looking relatives you are ashamed of? Why do people like you think it's okay to volunteer the rest of us for your pet projects anyway?

It is true --too much money is being used. States had to borrow from others-hospitals closed down-schools can not handle the overcrowd-taxes are getting out of hand.
To some of you--quit with your lies or half truths. Face it or you will never solve it.
On the whole-many problems have been caused.
And it is my country you stupid idiots in above posts. Like it or not.

The main reason for this is that many of our corrupt American politicians are involved.. They are being paid off by the Mexican Government to go along with illegals
