Lauren is a beautiful name. . .and not being overused at present!
Btw. . .just a thought. . .why don't you consider using your Maiden name for her middle name? And then her father's name for the last name. This way she will carry on the namesake of both mother and father!
If not, Christine is quite nice. . .but I wouldn't get your heart set on "L.C." sticking. . .for it may just end up being "L". . .wait until her friends have a say in the matter in but a few years!

Yes, it's pretty. But I think names need to have different syllable lengths. For instance, a first name with one syllable, and a middle name with two or three; or a first name with more than one, and then the middle with less or even more.
For example, Lauren Rose or Lauren Christina. Or Lauren Ann, or Lauren Elizabeth. When both names have the same number of syllables, they just sound a little less melodious. Look at the difference between Ann Joan (which sounds klunky) and Ann Marie (which flows nicer).
When you say the names out loud, then you will begin to see what I am talking about.

I am bias because "Lauren" is the name of a good friend whom I was confirmation sponsor to and "Christine" is the name of my baby sister. Two perfect names.

I like the name 'Lauren' but I find 'Christine' a bit old-fashioned (unless it has been deliberately chosen because it is a family name). 'Christina' or 'Christianna' are more modern alternatives.

I think that is a pretty name and is not spelled funky where the person would have to spell it to everyone all of their life!
