I think the Red Cross is amazing... After Hurricane Katrina, i trained for 2 weeks through the Red Cross in Disaster Relief, and then I went to New Orleans for 3 weeks.. It was amazing all the things the Red Crossw as doing and how quickly they were there to aid those people... They are awesome for sure!

Oprah's Angel Network and Habitat for Humanity. Virtually every dollar goes directly to the project and isn't paying high overhead or administrative cost. Oprah personally absorbs all admin cost for the Angel Network. Other's are wonderful as well and I do support ACS, MDystrophy and my local church. Red Cross was going through to much during Katrina and I personally know folks who never received a penny and are still living in an old camper my family donated. Salvation Army .. I won't dog them but I've seen and reported people ringing those bells -- one dollar for the pot and one for their pocket.

a lot of agencies donate to charity. EBay replaced into the first to leap in even as Katrina struck with a red bypass donation of $250,000. Watch Public television (PBS) and also you need to come across a mass of agencies and organizations which donate to many worth motives and punctiliously financially help a number of them. Jot down the names and get in touch with them which includes your techniques. you are able to also leaf via a some specialist business enterprise classes as well as charitables. Many are bought over the counter and maximum are available in on-line. sturdy success.

Don't forget about the local community service clubs that do myriad acts of goodwill at the local levels around the world. Two that come to mind immediately: Kiwanis International (with more than 8,800 local clubs worldwide) and the Lions Club (most famous for its eye bank program). -RKO-

Salvation Army uses most of the money you donate for the cause. I would chose them over most other charities.
