i prefer english myself but i am finding that i am taking a strong liking to Saddleseat. i have been riding bareback, western, english for 17 years so it doesnt really matter. but as I am getting older, i find that saddle seat takes a lot of stress off my knees and ankles.

Well I personally enjoy english more. I have been riding english for 7 out of my 8 years of riding. One of the years I rode western and barrel raced. Not to competitively though. I have had my ups and downs for both. I have even done pony driving. Still english is by far my favorite. I feel you are more in contact with the horse and no more of what they are thinking. I love riding and wouldn't change it for anything else in the world. Doesn't matter which saddle it is in.

Western. English people around here are so..... snotty. I much prefere western, but I do throw some english type training in. My horse can go either way. (but hasn't been trained to jump) I dislike Western pleasure though, I do mostly trails, penning and speed.

I prefer Western. English is fun for a little while, but western is more relaxed and I trail ride a great deal.

No Iran is nontoxic I can guarantee you...Iran is thoroughly distinctive from different Islamic international locations...you spot, Iranian men and women have a cleric govt however so much men and women in Iran aren't devout in any respect! humorous huh? and sure you're anticipated to hide your head in public considering the fact that the federal government forbids females dressing like westerners however the crisis was once very distinctive earlier than the 1979 Islamic Republic..*sigh* btw, I used to have an english boyfriend who labored in Tehran as a trainer :D

I have been riding western for six years, but, just last summer I started riding english and I loved it!!! I liked it so much that i taught my youngest and oldest horse to do it. I like them both the same, but english i more funner. More intense to me. I like it because its more challenging than western.

Both.
Depends on what I am doing. If I am working on the farm western as my english saddle there is not place to tie off anything.
But if I am training in the arena english as I can feel the horse under me and tell what he is doing better.
Also no horn on saddle when jumping.
