I like both, but cats are easier to care for. I guess I'm a general animal lover, cuase I have two cats, a bunny and I used to have a dog, and I want a bird....

Both. They have totally different types of personalities. I currently have 4 spoiled cats and 1 spoiled dog as part of my family. But that is okay, because they bring lots of fun and joy to myself and my family. It is basically personal preference and choice if you prefer either animal. Some people may be allergic to either animal, so that can also lead to their choice. Have a good day!

Both. I have a cat and a dog and love them both very much. I used to be a cat person, until I got my dog. I have a friend who raises Akita's, and she always said she disliked cats. Then she got a cat, and now she has four! So I am not sure about your theory, but maybe.

I love both of them but I prefer cats because they don't stink up the house like dogs.

I have noticed this as well. I like dogs but prefer cats. Cats are more independent and easier to take care of. Dogs are harder to take care of cause they require more attention.

I love dogs and cats, for different reasons. I think there is more interaction between myself and my dogs, but I love the graceful and quiet solitude expressed by cats. But, I do prefer adult cats over kittens.

I like dogs, but CATS.... now that's a different story! Whats so amazing about the cats is that you really have to earn their love. You can't teach them to love you like you teach the dogs. They are our equals!

i have found that dog lovers usually don't like cats b/c of their indepenence. with a dog, you can train it to commands and dogs love very unconditionally, where with a cat...well they are extremely independent and will turn their tail up at you if they feel like it. this is not to say they are not loyal and loving, they are just arrogant in nature. i love both dogs and cats but i get a kick more out of my cats (one in paticualr, b/c of his arrogant nature)
if you love cat's,
you are the cat's meow!
