I dated a guy a couple of times. He was the one who wanted to date me, and he was also the one who didn't want to continue dating. He wasn't nice to me the last time we talked and decided to split. I still have feelings for him, but I haven't told him. He's online now. Should I talk to him or just stay away? I don't know what to say, I'm afraid he might not answer.

I'll really advice you to talk to this guy deeply. Let him know how you feel about him, whatever aspect of his habit that's putting you off. Most times, we human beings speculate a lot but the irony is that we're almost wrong most times as well. Please, heed to my advice. No. He wanted the split so move on down the road. You openly said he wasn't even nice the last time you talked, so he's made it clear he isn't interested.
A bigger question for you is why you think so poorly of yourself you'd want someone that doesn't want you?

Just say "hi" or something like that. It doesn't hurt to say hello and it may or may not go any where but you will never know if you do nothing.
