Any order given to an animal requires time to training. Cats are not really interested in "stop, drop and rolling" on life. So if you want to teach them to do it, you will first need to uderstand very well how a cat brain behaves. Remeber it is a cat, not a dog!
Cats are very different than dogs. Dogs use to give attention because a human person represent "the owner" for dogs.
In cats minds, a cat does not have any owner. They don't know what a owner means. They rather identify "the feeder" which is different. Cats also belongs to a place, not to a community. Cats do not belong to a person like dogs. Cats belong to the house and you live with them.
So if you want your cat to "stop, drop and roll", why you don't get a dog to do it for you? Cats will give you lots of CATs fun. "Stop, drop and roll" is mostly for dogs.
Just sit and observe what a little kitten does and let it teach you rather than you teach him/her. You will be very surprised. I promise you they are extremely funny!!

cats tend to "stop, drop, and roll", but in emergencies, they tend to run and hide......i don't know if they would take such action when lit on fire.......
