well if youre married....this is working for my husband and I....this was also recommended by someone on here! We are on a points system...we get 5 points for exercise a point for skipping dessert etc....at the end of the week if we've met our weekly goal of 65 points then we get rewarded...:) it's working nicely thus far! You can choose your points and the whole thing....hope that helps...you could even do that if you're not married--reward yourself with a massage or something like that at the end of the week or month...it'll give you something good to work towards. :)

hope that helps good luck! ( I know how you feel!!!)

I do track and field so i really have to keep in shape and I go to the gym every other day, and the way I get motivated is a workout with a group of friends that incourage each other.

I always find calling it "working out" is a great way to make me rebel and sit on the couch. I rather call it discovering what I like and can do.

I can walk 1 mile for charity.
I can go to spin class for 1 hour ( I would find it too humilating to walk out so I stay for the whole thing)
I can dance and love to do it.
I can find my inner peace with an hour of Yoga.
I can help my neighbor with their groceries.
I can move continuously for 30 min.
I can talk to a friend and walk 20 blocks to a movie theatre.
I can find my own can do attitude.

Ephedra use to be my motivation. I could not sit still while taking it so exercise was a great release. Unfortunately it was banned and got a bad name because people over dosed on it. I heard the ban has been lifted but I still can't find it.

Do what I do...take a picture of yourself naked or in a very tiny undergarment and keep it with you when out and about...

..it will motivate you to "do" something..whether it'd be monitoring your diet closer or go workout...

PS - research shows the people that have a workout partner are 70% more likely to reach their goals

Yeah, for me it was watching the Tyra Banks show on the episoide of cellulite, and looking at my butt I was like-'daaaammmmnnnn I need to do somethin'. OR you could watch the body builder compitions for wemon-they're gorgeous and buff. OR if you are grouchy, this is a perfect way to get those anger ambitions out. Start a punching bag-I swear if you try this out, you will be in a better mood and if you drink lots of water and cut back on soda, this will DEFINATELY IMPROVE AND WANT TO GET YOURSELF OUT THERE AND READY TO WORK OUT!

Find something to really motivate yourself. It's hard, I know, coz I hate exercise. Not because I don't like to sweat coz once I'm there, I'm fine.

Just DO IT!!! Tell yourself that this is how it's going to be. It's hard, I won't lie to ya. You just have to do it.
