The easiest is usually to save the .swf file and then to drag the file into an Internet Explorer window.
It's better to install Flash Player, but you may not want to go to the trouble.

If you wish to view an swf file, just open it with Internet explorer and you can view it. That should do it.
Alternatiely, you can go to adobe website and install flash player.
