i was pulling weeds today and i have something on my finger. It feels as though it would be a blister, but it's a little harder than a blister and only about the size of a pinhead. What do you think it is?

Sometimes weeds can cause irritation to your skin. This can either cause a hard lump or a blister to form. I suggest washing your hand very well with soapy water (to remove any plant oils that may be on your skin) and apply a little cortisone cream to the area. You can also try an ice pack to your finger for 20 minutes on, 1 hour off, 20 minutes on.

If it forms a blister (with fluid), do NOT pop the blister. Opening a blister to drain it puts you at risk for infection. Just cover it with a bandaid.

If it's irritation from the plant, it will resolve on its own within a week.

If it persists more than a couple of weeks, you might want to go to your doctor.

Maybe there is something stuck inside. Sometimes weeds have little tiny thorns that can get stuck under the skin.

Sounds like a callous. I get them when I work out in the yard sometimes. Its caused from friction in the same area over and over again.

it's warts, if it appears more than once at the same spot. my friend got that on her arm...she said it doesn't hurt. Warts can appear everywhere on your body
