I've read a lot of articles in different magazines that do suggest grean tea for weight loss. Most of the articles say to drink 4, 6, or more cups a day. For me, that's not so easy to do. I've started making iced green tea in an attempt to drink more. I've also started taking green tea extract (camillia sinensis) in capsules. I figure it can't hurt. If nothing else, I'm being healthier by getting more antioxidants in my system.

I think it helps with your water consumption, the more you drink while trying to lose weight the better you will do. I never have found that it really curbed hunger or upped my metabolism. Whatever you do skip the sugar in the green tea.
