Just went to Anfi del Mar, in Gran Canaria, no 1 time share resort in Europe, didn't sign up but had a great offer on the web and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Sorted our own flights and had 5 star for the same price as a 3 star ding a package. Check it out! First family holiday abroad and the kids, and us, really enjoyed ourselves.

I loved Sardinia, we stayed on the Costa Smerelda, and if you are willing to farther afield, Western Australia is amazing.
