The only way to Heaven is beleiving in the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no other to get into heaven; you have to beleived He died for your sins. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Works will never get you into heaven.

Look at the thief on the cross next to Jesus, there was no way he could do any works to get into heaven. What did Jesus say to him? Luke 23:40-43 says, " And one of the criminals who were hanging there was hurling abuse at Him(Jesus) saying, 'Are You not the Christ? Save yourself and us?' But the other answered, and rebuking him said, 'Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condenation? And we indeed justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.' And he said , "Jesus, remember me when You come into Your Kingdom!' And Jesus said to him, 'Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."
So, you can see that it isn't about works it is about believing and trusting in Jesus.

Honestly, it isn't your good or bad deeds that get you to heaven. You can do all the good in the world, be a Pope for example, but that WILL NOT get you into heaven. The only reason we should be even let into heaven is the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross not for himself but for others. He fulfilled the Laws that we could not.

Christians believe that faith and following Christ will get you into heaven, but your deeds will still be weighed at the time of judgement.

If heaven was judged on good and bad deeds, nobody would go. That's why you need faith and salvation from the Lord Jesus Christ.

The question assumes a fact definitely not in evidence: that there is such a thing as heaven. There is absolutely no objective evidence to support such a notion -- it is strictly wishful thinking. My advice is to worry about this life and forget about a next one.

The only way to Heaven is through the blood of Christ which was shed on the cross. If you give all your money to the poor and pray your life time to God and in between you try to do good, then you will go to Hell. If you believe in Christ and what He did for you, then you go yo Heaven.

YOu have to do a lot more than believe in hope and faith. what you do with your free will is extreemly important. Especially in these times. How you use your power, what you say, and the energy you project to others determines much more than you, at present know. There will come a time when these meaningless borders and religions diffuse into nothingness and reveal the truth about human conciousness.

I don't understand the other religions, either. I do believe that the only to Heaven is through Jesus Christ and not by works alone. Thank God for his merciless Grace.

Jesus said there are two ways to get to heaven. One: you have to be perfect never sinning or even thinking sinful thoughts--impossible (See the book of Matthew, sermon on the mount). OR Two: accept His sacrifice for you and form a relationship with Him.
God bless!

Good deeds do not get us into Heaven. They are a part of faith, and it is faith that gets us in.
Good works do not merit us Heaven, but they are part of the faith that is necessary to get us there. "Faith without works is dead," the Bible tells us.
Just as a car without an engine is a dead car, so too is faith dead without good works as part of that faith.
Protestants tend to speak of faith and works as separate and separable things. To us Catholics, that is akin to speaking of a car and an engine as separable things -- when in fact, the engine is an integral part of the car.
The engine is nothing without the rest of the car -- likewise, the car is nothing without the engine, even if the car's other systems (brakes, transmission, etc.) are all working just fine.
Faith in Christ is what ultimately gets us into Heaven -- but that faith is dead without good works, just as a car is dead without an engine.
