Beating the person up is not only childish, but ridiculous. Why not tell your cousin what you know and let her make up her own mind as to how to handle it?

You shouldn't interfere with the relationship, because that is becoming a "rescuer" which in turns hinders your cousins abilities to mature as an adult. However, if there is physical abuse, theft, or otherwise a criminal stuff involved; it time to kick some serious @$$!!!!

Yes, I think you ask this question because you care about your cousin. So I think you can approach her with your concerns.
Let her know you are not making a decision for her and tell her what you have observed.
Do it confidently, and non-judgemental. If you can avoid her getting hurt, why not.
Good luck.

No, keep your thoughts and comments to yourself when it comes to family members.
Unless I can see you on maury show, or worse yet, the Jerry Springer show.
Your cousin will be thinking you want her/his better half.
