Late 40's 50's and 60's.
Because things were so much simpler then. People had a sense of Honor and showed consideration for their fellow man. Women still wore dresses daily...and Men wore nice Suits. The was oppotunity to excel while still holding on to your priciples. In other words...you didnt have to sell your soul to get ahead. AND they had really KOOL cars and motorcycles.

Yes, the 50's. I love the 50's. It seems like things were so much more peaceful, and the men actually had taste when they talked to a woman... and there were fun things to do, that weren't dangerous, like staying out at a drive in, drinking rootbeer floats and stuff.. lol..
The music was even good back then.

I'm with you!!! 50's and 60's. It seems like people had more respect back then, for themselves and for others!!! There were NO school shootings!! (Kids actually prayed in school ,IMAGINE!!!!)
Children were taught to RESPECT those with authority (whether a policeman or a teacher)!!The "gays' did not FLAUNT it in our faces back then!!! There were not nearly as many violent crimes as there are now!! We had a lot LESS illegals!!! There was some great music, too!!!

I woul love to go back to the 70's because it was before all this computer knowlege went overboard, before they could get actul sattilite pictures of your house, before anyone anywhere can find out everything about your but a couple of clicks of a mouse and it was after all of the racism was so rampat that they segregated things like drinling foutains etc. and it was just one hella of a good decade that I just happened to be born during the last of.

Funny. I just had this conversation yesterday. I would say the 60's because I missed all the greats like Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, etc. Plus cars were cheap and so was property.

50's. Times just seem so much simpler back then. Yeah, you had to worry about the Cold War and fears of a nuclear attack, but for the most part, compared to today, there was a lot less to worry about.

The 60s ... at least people were alive, and motivated ... remember the Vietnam War protesters? Remember the civil rights marches? People who cared about their country and the injustices actually DID something about it ...
