The governments of Europe and America support Isreal because they are allies. After World War 2, the United States and Europe helped to establish the nation of Isreal. It only makes sense that we are currently allies, and the arabs that have spent hundreds of years on the land that Isreal currently occupy were displaced, we are talking millions of arabs mainly palestinians were displaced, and weren't even recognized by the world as a nation. Your first question has no merit jesus was a jew, to say blame the jews would be like a culture that produced jesus. And people have blamed the jews, and they suffered a great deal more than most ethnic group, and that is one of the reasons the United States and Europe decided that the Jewish people needed their own nation but in the process another set of people were pushed aside. This is a mess with no right solution. Only some understanding on both sides can resolve this situation.

It's not right that some Christians believe that Jews killed Jesus because such comments can lead to intolerance. Also, such a statement is false. After all, Jews execute by stoning. (It's not throwing rocks. It's pushing someone off a cliff onto a pile of rocks, or at least that's what I learned at hebrew school.) The Romans, when the executed people, used the crucifix. Therefore common sense would show the innaccuracy of such a belief.

As for current support, it is because the Jews haven't done anything bad to Americans and Europeans. (It would be hard for Jews to do anything, because we are 0.2% of the world's population.) Some guilt from the Holocaust may be another factor.

I don't have any history, but I'm a Christian and I don't believe the Jews killed Jesus because the Bible says the Romans did.

"The Jews" did not kill Jesus. You anti-Semite Christians can't get anything right, like using your religion to promote hate.

So who were the people who sat round Jesus, this multitude, to hear him preach, that he fed with loaves and fishes? Italians?

Where did these people come from who gathered round Jesus riding to Jerusalem, shouting Hosana, Hosana, New Jersey?

This Jesus was seen by a social-religious elite as a threat to their authority and they conspired to make the Romans believe he was a political enemy of theirs, so as to get rid of him. That the mob chose Barabas over Jesus for release only means that some people out-shouted others.

The whole region was in much turmoil. Some heard of Jesus, some didn't, some believed, some didn't, some understood, some didn't. Just like today.

That a powerful elite engineered his death does not condemn a whole race of people. The Bible gives more than adequate testimony of the support of a great many Jews.

Not to mention, no matter what kinds of distortions and contortions Christians employ to get around it, Jesus and his family were Jewish themselves.

Certain Jews were involved in Jesus' death, as were certain Romans.

That doesn't mean that we have some grudge against the entire Jewish people, any more than we have a grudge against the entire Italian people.

"Jews" (as in "some Jews") had a hand in Jesus' death -- not "THE Jews."

Using "the" before the word "Jews" implies that ALL Jews are responsible for His death. Which just isn't the case, of course.

Because Muslims are crazier than the Jews...history evidence, cartoon riots, French riots, Theo Van Gogh, and 9/11

Only someone ignorant of the Bible believe the Jews killed Jesus. While the Jewish leaders wanted Him dead to silence Him, it was the Romans who actually crucified Jesus.

However, Christian belief states that nobody "killed" Jesus. Jesus gave His life willingly to save humanity from our sins.

Jesus WAS Jewish...

Also, Middle-Eastern... makes you wonder why all the pictures of Jesus in the Western World are of a white man? In fact, it was more likely that Jesus had naturally very tan skin.

Gotta love the permeation of racism even into the churches...

Jews did kill Jesus, who was a jew Himself. The whole thing was part of Gods plan to save us. I am not angry with any Jew for this as it would serve no purpose.

The Romans killed him. I resent Israel for spying on US, for domineering our foreign policy, and for sending photographers to videotape and laugh at us when 9/11 occurred.

"Mossad connection to filming of 9/11 attacks with "puzzling behavior"
This claim formed part of the Al-Manar report mentioned above. The claim is that:

For its part, the Israeli Ha'aretz' newspaper revealed that the FBI arrested five Israelis four hours after the attack on the Twin Towers while filming the smoking skyline from the roof of their company's building. The FBI had arrested the five for "puzzling behavior". They are said to have been caught videotaping the disaster in what was interpreted as cries of joy and mockery. [121]
This claim was substantially correct. Yossi Melman had reported to that effect in Haaretz on September 17, 2001, [122] using the words "puzzling behavior" and "what was interpreted as cries of joy and mockery." Several mainstream Western media groups researched this. On June 21, 2002, ABC published a report that five Israelis seen filming the events of September 11 in New York and looking "happy" were subsequently arrested, claiming (on The Forward's authority) that the "FBI concluded that two of the men were Israeli intelligence operatives" but had no advance knowledge of 9/11.

The Forward had reported the five as a possible Mossad surveillance operation conducted not against the US but against "radical Islamic networks suspected of links to Middle East terrorism." Mossad was known to have been infiltrating Al Qaeda at the time. Sivan Kurzberg, Paul Kurzberg, Yaron Shmuel, Oded Ellner and Omer Marmari, the five Israelis who were kept in custody in the federal Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset Park for approximately two months were eventually deported back to Israel on November 20-21, 2001. [123] Ellner and others in the prison have complained of abuse by prison guards. [124]

The claim was revived by the Scotland-based Sunday Herald's article (Nov 2, 2003.)"
