They are certainly more 'christian' than those churches and people who preach against gay marriage, and therefore practice bigotry, discrimination and hatred. WWJD?

What about organic and organic rules? Marriage is a union that describes the unique courting between a guy and a women in which toddlers are born and raised in a reliable surroundings. there have been many study performed proving that toddlers do more effective in houses with both a mom and a father present. the significant requirement to obtain a wedding ceremony license is a pair must be a guy and a women. That effortless requirement won't be able to be met in a gay courting. you do not supply drivers licenses to those who can not meet the criteria to obtain one, marriage licenses artwork a similar way. using is a privilege no longer a real; marriage is a privilege no longer a real. Marriage isn't all about love as such numerous favor to believe and it truly is shown interior the divorce charges that folk don't realize that marriage is more effective than love. the courting between a guy and a women and the courting between 2 men or 2 women aren't from now on a similar because men and women are biologically different so why might want to a gay couple favor to apply a time period that hasn't ever blanketed them and does no longer describe their courting?

First of all, not all diocese of the Episcopal (Anglican) Church approve of gay marriage and gay clergy.
In fact, the ordination of an openly gay Episcopal (Anglican) bishop in New Hampshire is causing a virtual schism in the church -- a lot of Anglican dioceses around the world are refusing to recognize the ordination and have cut themselves off from the New Hampshire diocese.
Churches who approve of gay marriage and openly gay clergy are still Christian in many senses -- but with regard to their attitudes on homosexuality, they are enacting some very un-Christian policies.

God will judge who His children are; He knows. Showing up at a church on Sunday no more makes one a Christian that showing up in a barn makes one a chicken.
As to the link between Christians and homosexuality, it's an indirect one. Christians worship God, the Bible is God's Word, the Bible clearly speaks of homosexuality as a terrible sin, so Christians tend to disapprove of homosexuality. It's not like the disapproval is direct but indirect.

Even christians cant agree with other christians! So much for the "absolute truth" of God when the followers can't even agree on what it means. I think they are afraid of gays because then they will realize Jesus way gay and their whole superiority complex will be shattered and destroy one of their fundamental prejudices. You can tell that deep down they know Jesus was gay. Even the xtians vehemently oppose the idea that Jesus was ever married, had a gf, or had sex with a woman. Its all too clear to them that he was gay...and that scares the hell out of them!

Not all sects and/or parishes approve gay marriage. The ones that do are truly following Christ's message of loving everybody, including those the rest of society does not.

They are considered heretical and mainstream christians are hoping that they repent. The decision to do that is at the organization level and may or may not reflect the opinions of the members. It is the members that we are most concerned with and hope that they realize how those teachings are not in line with the Bible.
Edit: WideAwake, you ask WWJD? He would tell them to repent of their sin and follow Him. Repent means to ask for forgiveness with the intention to not ever do it again.

Yes, but they are teaching non-Biblical principles. They will pay for their errors. I might say that not all local churches of these denominations adhere to gay rights issues---in fact, if the truth be known most do not. It is the leadership that is at fault, that is playing to the media and to wealth. God save them all.

Doubt it. Mainstream Christianity would find gay marriage not Paulist enough, and far too Jesuslike.

Your denomination or church affiliation doesn't make you more or less Christian. The word Christian means one who is like Christ... a follower of Christ. Either you follow His word or you don't. It doesn't matter which church you join.
In the end God will decide who the true believers are... He knows our hearts & knows who truly loves Him.
