My boyfriend does not know if he wants to ever be married or have children. He likes having his own apartment (he's with me all the time, though) and he likes having money (and kids would take that). I am fine about not having kids. But I am not fine with living apart if it means for ever.

Do you know why he doesn't want to get married? Because then he can easily kick you out when the going gets tough. Do you want to be with a man that can't commit to you? I'd say get married before living together for moral reasons, but if you don't like that, keep in mind that the only difference between you two living together and marriage is that he's not committed to you. It sounds like you might desire to have kids. Don't date a loser that will keep you from a wonderful experience for his own selfish desires.
Your boyfriend is selfish, materialistic, and you should find a real man that doesn't see his girlfriend as a casual friendship he can play with on his own terms.

If He has not asked you then he is happy with the current living conditions.Of course he's with you all the time he likes being with you but when you move in with someone that changes everything and I mean everything your privacy is out the window and you now have to share your life like a open book everything from money,hygiene,cleanness.You have to tell them when your going out better yet ask them. When you fight you cant run and hide.Been there done that need advice e-mail me.Good luck!

well its good you want the same things. ask him what if you both lived together. no commitment as of now. just living together. If he agrees then live with each for a month and see how that works out then ask if he would like to do it permantly. if you want to get married and he doesn't that could make things complicated so do this process slowly.

It just depends on the person. If you have known eachother for a while beford you dated , or if you have dated for a while it will be sooner , then if you just started dating or met not to long ago.

they should date for no more than 2 yrs and then get MARRIED, NOT living together.

i knew my boyfriend for almost two years before i moved in.if i had my way i could have even done it within 6 months.i want to be with him all the time
