will stores allow a teen to use their parents credit card? When do stores ask for ID? Does signing the back of the card make any difference in the above questions?

Your parents can add you on as an "additional user" to their cards if they want you to be able to use them with as little hassle as possible from the clerks. Stores can ask for your i.d. with any and every transaction, and can legally deny you if you don't have it. If the clerk calls the credit card company and you are designated as an additional user, you will still need some kind of legal photo i.d. if you do not have a driver's license. Unless you have your own card with your name printed on the front, signing the back of your parents' card does not make it your own and does not allow you to use it.

Under 18 you cannot have a credit card. Using your parents or anyone elses card that isn't yours could get you into serious trouble with the credit card company and your family.

They can use them ONLY with their parents permission and the store may infact call to verify that the teen is allowed to be a signer on the card.

No. In this time of fraud it would not be wise for your parents to allow a teenager to use their credit card. It may be a good idea for them to get their own pre-paid card for whatever purchases you may need.
