There could be a lot of reasons. They want the points, they honestly believe they know the answer, they want to be a smart mouth, they want to be funny, rude, etc. The list goes on and on. What I don't like is when people give advice about a particular breed of dog (or any animal) that they obviously know nothing about, or have never had any experience with, either through personal experience, or through a friend that has had that particular breed of dog or animal. When they do this, their advice is sometimes incorrect, or in some cases, is dangerous and can actually do more harm than good. People should just stick with what they know.

Everybody knows the answer. Some folk are just trying to be funny, Its a stage out here- and everybody wants to show how smart we are, attractive, humorous, and clever we are.
Every so often, I get a great answer, that solves my question or issue. For the most part, I get to hear someones perspective on the subject at hand. Don't expect miracles- although they do happen- sometimes.

Some people honestly THINK that they know the answer and may or may not be right".
Others are just being what they call CUTE "funny" and may or may not be found that way by the rest of us.
Then some have experienced similar things, and offer their knowledge in hopes of it actually helping. Maybe it could be the same thing they have seen/done.
