It was very good. I can't believe you were able to watch it. Usually poor people don't have a tv.

I enjoyed it. It was a rerun, actually- it originally aired a couple of months ago, I think. It's new in that it's from 2006.
I never read "The Origin of the Species", but now, I'd like to. I haven't read the whole entire Holy Bible, either, for that matter.
I love THE SIMPSONS. It allows us to laugh at ourselves- even when dealing with very hot issues.
Personally, I do believe evolution happens in nature. However, I do not believe that we human beings evolved from apes. I think God created us in our current incarnation.
Mind you, religion doesn't prove anything. Even scientific evidence fails to prove anything, really. It can heavily suggest something, however. Ultimately, in a way, all evidence is circumstantial evidence.
It does say in the book of Genesis that God made man from dust. I believe that this is true. Not everyone will, and I have to be willing to accept that.
Yes, evolution does happen. But if we humans evolved from apes, then why aren't we still changing? Does evolution come to a stagnation after a certain cusp? Let me consider the other side of that coin. Some people will assert that evolution takes long periods of time. Perhaps that is true. But if evolution is true, then why are there still apes left on the earth? Wouldn't they have already metamorphosized into human beings?
Now, although I think that humans were created by God, not evolution, that does not mean I have any less respect for the sanctity of the great apes. I think that they are magnificent creatures, and deserve to be protected.

I thought that it was a well chosen subject for The Simpsons because it is a very old question and was just the thing to Lovejoy and Flanders in a huffle.
