Being a hypothetical question, I'll give a hypothetical answer. I don't have any children yet. But if I found out that my son or daughter was gay I'd still love them unconditionally and hope they found someone they really loved and who loved them back and could spend the rest of their lives together. I'd want them to build a family together and teach their children that God loves all of us, regardless of our sexual orientation. Jesus came and died for ALL not just straight Christians.

That's a good question. I'm sure it happens from time to time.

I'd tell him/her that I loved him/her regardless of who or what he/she was ... but out of love, I would do everything in my power to steer him/her away from the gay lifestyle, given how medically dangerous it is.

Children are supposed to bury parents -- parents are not supposed to bury children.

Sadly and tragically, though, too many parents have had to bury their gay children, because those children have put themselves at huge risk for diseases which have cut the average gay person's life span down to around 40 years old.

I would do all I could to steer my children away from smoking -- I would do the same with homosexuality because smokers actually live longer than gays do, on average.

I am a born again Christian and I have six children. If one of them were to tell me he/she was gay.....I would still have six children. I know other Christians will disagree with me here, but your children are your children despite what they've done, are doing or will do. Just like we're God's children. Despite what we've done, are doing or will do. To disown your child over this is immoral and wrong.

The same thing if you found out your kid was going to hell instead of heaven, pray for a better day when God enlightens your kid. Don't discourage or withdraw Christian teaching, it is a means for enlightenment for all and the way to heaven.

They would sit him in the middle of the Parrish and whilst speaking in tongues wish they could experience the same things.

I don't care about that. I am Christian but I have nothing against gays.

While I wouldn't "approve" of their choice, I would still love them and try to accept it. (and their partner) Although I would ask that they withhold certain behaviors in my presence.
