Wow...great question. When Abraham was told to sacrifice Isaac he was acting on faith. Putting his trust in God.
When Jesus was sacrificed, it was to pay the price for all of us. Even though God knew Jesus would be raised again. There was a moment when all the sins of the world fell on Christ, at that moment God and Jesus were separated because God can not be where sin is. The moment was when Christ asked on the cross "Father, why have you forsaken me?"
I believe it was just as hard in both cases.
But do remember that God stopped Abraham from sacrificing Isaac.

I think it is hard for anyone to sacrifice their son. Abraham had faith. God told him that through him a great nation would be born. Isaac was the promised son so Abraham somehow had to know that God would do something.
As for Jesus dieing on the cross, it was difficult for God because God cannot tolerate sin and Jesus took upon Himself the sins of this world. Therefore he had to look away. So I think it was more difficult for God to sacrifice Jesus.

But God could probably feel Jesus' pain... and suffering...
Abraham's son Isaac was also a willing sacrifice... no fear... but he was not being tortured at the time.

FACT: ISAAC WAS SPARED BY GOD
either way there was a greater purpose for it all, plus I dont think that when god takes back anyone its called a sacrifice because they just go where they come from. HEAVEN.

Too bad God didn't "kill" Jesus. Get your facts straight. You are so misguided til it's not even funny.
And obviously you nothing about what happened because Isaac's life was spared by God.

I agree--I don't think I could do it unless I knew I had the power to bring him back.
