Best advice: write what you know. read what you need - it might NOT be the whole book, depending whether you are reading & essaying fiction or nonfiction. Do your parents or grandparents folks have opinions you could develop into essays? Do you feel strongly about something but perhaps can't explain yourself? Get a tape recorder and talk to someone about the topic. Don't worry about what's on the recording, just let it play and write the best part. Ask someone what they think your reading is about and get them to help you outline the high points - you'll get scads of workable material.
Good topics: How our school could be improved;
How to study; How to play a game; what traditions are important in our family; what I think the problem with the Internet is;
How many ways I can get out of my writing assignment; why plagerists should be banished from the planet; my favorite ball player; my favorite day with my dad
Better advice: talk to your parents and instructors and explain that you are having a hard time reading all the assigned material. That is your bigger problem, not getting a bad mark this week.

1. Homeschooling versus Public Schooling
2. The Pros and Cons of the No Child Left Behind Act
3. If I Could Be Any Animal in the World, I'd Be A...
4. Compare M.Taylor's, Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry with B&V Cleaver's, Where the Lilies Bloom [or some other plot comparison]
5. What Freedom Means to Me

I do not know what grade you are in. These are some "off the top of my head" ideas. They can be as simple or complicated as you want to make them, depending on your age. Or maybe they will help you gel some ideas of your own.
Good luck!

topics to write on:

The samurai sword (history and the making of)

Mummification

Vampires: fact or fiction and who it is based on (Vlad the Impaler)

Shark attacks

Gator attacks (the indo-pacific crocodile is a good one)

The truth about fairy tales (and how gruesome they truly were originally)

Spontaneous Human Combustion

There's a few (interesting) topics that I'm sure you can find great info on the Internet or books........now get to work!! :-)

P.S. I woud NOT suggest going to any site to get a FREE essay. First off, it's ILLEGAL and completely unethical. Plus you will get a 0 for plagarism and that will stick with you your WHOLE academic career and if you're in college it is grounds to have you expelled. NOT WISE. Do the work, it will expand your mind and creativity...
