Would you leave that person because you don't have feelings and hurt them or do you stay with them in hope to get feelings for them because you don't know if you will ever find some one like that person again.Even when that person tells you that they are willing to take that risk to be with you. My Mama is in that situation so i thought i would see what u guys thought

NAH.....I don't think so.... well, maybe... It is a difficult predicament to be in. Many songs have been written about this topic and I am not sure that anyone has found a good answer yet!

That sounds exactly like staying in the marriage for the sake of the kids. Id prefer Honesty over everything. Such a hard word to comprehend to most. If you`re not happy be honest and leave, dont keep that "tomatoe" on the vine.

If I felt that person wasn't right for me then I would leave because it wouldn't be fair to them or to me. But there are alot of people out there that feel that they can always find someone better when the best person is the one that their already with. It is a toss up and a chance

I was also in a similar situation...For me I had to just be honest. I mean we were together (never married) for almost 12yrs. And we just grew apart...it happens. I had to sit down with him and although I don't like to hurt anyones feelings I have to also think of my own. So I told him...I love you, but I am not in love with you...We went our seperate ways although emotions did run high at times. But we both stayed level headed and respectful to one another...which paid off...because we are still friends...and I just attended his wedding in May...I adore his new wife and her kids. Life is to short to be unhappy, feeling miserable or just not happy with the directions and turns you may have taken in your own life...it is good to take these turns because otherwise we may never know...but when we fall, turn the wrong way we have to pick up ourselves and sometimes the peices and move on. If you love someone else then no but if you think you may end up loving that person in the end then maybe.If she doesn't love him and don't tell him then it's not right for him. If she already told him and he still wants to stay with her then they should try talking it out and maybe she will end up falling for him. I guess it just takes time.

I would leave.
Because they will give 100 percent and you may only give them 20.
she should explain to him how she feels and where she stands as soon as possible.
When someone is in love, they do obnoxious, loving things.
And if you don't feel the same, you will not see it the way he wants you to see it. The way ur meant to see it in the eyes of love. You'll only see it the way "everyone else" sees it and that's not how it should be.
She needs to tell him as quick as possible. Good luck.

Relationships for pity are a nasty deal! It would only be fair to your mother's boyfriend to tell that person the truth and break it off as gently as possible. Feelings don't come on command and if it's been a while and she still doesn't feel anything, well then it's pointless to continue!

if somebody thinks that staying with your mom might be risky then I think she shd avoid him.otherwise I m sure that she willdevelop some feelings once she stays with him

yes if he is kind of cute ...my dad always told me married the man he love you not the man you love him bcs the one who love you will learn to love him after all the love and nice things he will do to you but the man you love he will want more and more and maybe he will leave one day

yeah, I'd say let her stay with him and find out if things would turn out fine....she might eventually fall in love with him....men like these are hard to find these days....so i'd say, test the water and see if the temperature is cool for her...if you know what i mean.
