I found out the guy I am seeing (open relationship....mr. let's go with the flow) stood me up to be with someone else. He was home and just did not answer the phone, when I called to find out what happened both his home and cell just rang. Even though we are not an exclusive couple I have known him for two years we were just friends in the beginning and we have been seeing each other intimately for about six months. Our work schedules conflict so time together has moved slowly. I still think he should have called to cancel. He owes me that much ....right? I am new at this dating thing I was married for 12 years basically most of my life this is the second guy I have dated since my marriage ended almost 4 years ago. I am considering cutting my losses with this. What do you think?

Yes, an open relationship doesn't preclude someone treating you with consideration and respect. When someone doesn't take the time to do something as simple as call and cancel then you know that they aren't with you out of any sense of love or hope for anything in the future. I think it is time for you to move on and look for a relationship with someone who has more to give to you.
